1. Who We Are

Jobelo ("we", "us", "our") operates the Jobelo platform at jobelo.gr and app.jobelo.gr. We are a seasonal job matching service connecting businesses and candidates on Greek islands.

2. Data We Collect

We collect information you provide directly:

• Account data: email address, password (hashed), user type
• Profile data: name, age, city, bio, skills, languages, availability, salary expectations, profile photo
• Business data: company name, type, location, description, logo
• Usage data: swipes, matches, messages, job postings
• Payment data: processed by Stripe — we do not store card numbers

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide the matching service (showing your profile to relevant employers/candidates)
• To process payments via Stripe
• To send transactional emails (match notifications, payment confirmations)
• To improve the platform via anonymized analytics (PostHog)

4. Legal Basis (GDPR)

We process your data under: (a) contract performance — to provide the service you signed up for; (b) legitimate interests — to prevent fraud and improve the platform; (c) consent — for marketing communications.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data while your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from Settings, which permanently deletes all your data within 30 days.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

You have the right to: access your data, correct inaccuracies, delete your account, export your data, and object to processing. Contact us at privacy@jobelo.gr.

• Supabase (EU-Central-1, Frankfurt) — database and authentication
• Stripe — payment processing
• PostHog (EU cloud) — analytics
• Resend — transactional email
• Sentry — error tracking

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (Supabase session). No advertising cookies.
